Introduction

Information and publicity programme runs across all other programmes ensuring the full publicity of any information gathered by the two units within the organisation. Based on the fact that CCJDP focuses on advocacy at all levels, policy, institutional and community, the IP programme works to ensure that the organisation is able to document and follow-up on key policy statements being made by key policy makers as well as ensure that advocacy messages from the community are being recorded and followed up by relevant programmes within CCJDP. Its key role in the organisation cannot be over emphasised.

Overall programme goal

The overall goal of the programme is to ensure that all information being generated by CCJDP programmes is being adequately packaged and published for the public. The programme also looks into the full establishment of the resource room and ensuring that the website and all information and technology systems (IT) are updated and running effectively.

Operational objectives

The following operational objectives were set after recognising that there is need to strengthen the programme and therefore ensure better publicity of programme activities and reinforce the advocacy initiatives of all CCJDP work.
